About ”Sakura Quality An ESG Practice” certification system
The "Sakura Quality An ESG Practice" certification is an SDGs certification mark for Sakura Quality-certified accommodations. This certification mark has been approved by GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council) in the United States, based on its standards.
The 17 SDGs goals have been organized into 172 criteria and on-site inspections are conducted by experienced assessors. After attentive efforts for supporting to get certified, the process is carried out by an independent and impartial third-party committee.
The mark is given to facilities, which is evaluated for its consistent efforts towards SDGS by certification institution
