The flavors and culture of Hasami are calling—come and get a taste of it for yourself!

From January 10 - February 28, Hasami Collaboration Lunch Fair is being held. 9 local restaurants have teamed up with Hasami pottery makers and suppliers to offer exclusive dishes featuring local ingredients and served on beautiful Hasami tableware.

Each restaurant offers something different and it’s worth visiting a few to experience the variety. Because the menu is limited to this fair, it’s a great excuse to come and check out Hasami again even if you’ve already been before.

If you’re into prizes, you can post and tag photos of your lunch or participate in the stamp rally for a chance to win Hasami experiences, porcelain, Nagasaki wagyu, and more.

Plus, the first 100 customers to finish the stamp rally and come to the Tourism Association on the 1st floor of the Tourism Exchange Center will receive an exclusive plate with an image of “Hachamaru”, Hasami’s official town mascot.

Hasami Highlights:
Hasami Town is located in the central part of Nagasaki Prefecture, just a 30-minute bus ride from Sasebo City. Known for its stylish designs, Hasami has a 400-year pottery tradition that continues to this day. Interestingly, it is said that 16% of the tableware used in homes across Japan today is from Hasami.
