Breakwater Fishing

  • 299views

Aokata Port was designated as a "Model Port for the Promotion of Fishing Culture" by Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism on August 3rd, 2020.

Come empty-handed in the middle of a trip? No problem! Travel to the breakwater via boat, gaze at sights you could only get on a remote island, and have fun as you try your hand at catching sea bream, flounder, horse mackerel, marbled rockfish, and other seasonal fish. The fish you catch can be prepared, vacuum sealed, and shipped to you for an additional charge. Even beginners can easily enjoy this kind of fishing!
