The service of Nagasaki Ropeway is scheduled to be suspended for maintenance inspection as following. 
■ Suspended section: Fuchi Shrine Station ↔ Inasadake Station
■ Suspension period: June 3, 2020 (Monday) to June 30, 2020 (Sunday) 

Even though the Ropeway is closed during the period, 
Mt, Inasa observaton deck is accesible by public tranportation, car, taxi.

Access to Mt, Inasa by public transportation (bus&slope car) 
 ①Take a Nagasaki bus No.5 (bound for Inasayama) and get off at the last stop (Inasayama).
 ②Waik to Inasayama Chufuku Station for boarding slope car.
 ③Take a slope car from the station to observation deck. (Applox: 8mins) 

 




The all-glass gondola offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the beautiful city of Nagasaki, and is famous as a viewing spot for the $10 million night view, which was re-certified as one of the "World's New Three Great Night Views" in 2021.

From "Fuchi Shrine Station" at the foot of Mt. Inasa, it takes about 5 minutes to connect to the summit of 333-meter-high Mt. Inasa, and on a clear day, you can see as far as Unzen, Amakusa, and the Goto Islands. Free parking is available at "Fuchi Shrine Station" for easy access!

The gondolas, renovated in 2011, were designed by KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN, led by world-renowned industrial designer Kiyoyuki Okuyama, who is famous for designing Ferraris. The gondola features an innovative form that is completely different from previous gondolas. The gondolas offer a clear 360-degree panoramic view of the city.
The two new gondolas have nicknames, "Star Drops" and "Moon Drops.
The "Hoshinozuku" and "Tsuki no Shizuku" gondolas are designed with a focus on design, views, and comfort, and are ready to take you on a journey through the sky!

Access Approximately 7 minutes by bus from JR Nagasaki Station bound for Shimo-Ohashi, alight at "Ropeway-mae" and walk 3 minutes.
Free circular bus service is available from hotels in the center of the city to Nagasaki Ropeway Fuchi Shrine Station and back.
(Reservations can be made on the official website from 12:00 on the day of the tour until 30 minutes before the departure time of each bus.)
